Botulinum Injections

More commonly known as Botox our Anti-Wrinkle injections use a drug called Botulinum toxin, hence the name Botox. This drug is used to relax the overactive muscles in your face which cause your wrinkles and lines. We insert very fine needles into the muscles which put them to sleep temporarily for a period of up to 6 months. This treatment is also very effective for excessive sweating in the hands, armpits or feet and usually lasts up to 7 months.

Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers or Facial fillers use a natural hyaluronic acid gel to remove lines, improve contours and give your face a ‘fuller’ shape. They are injected under the surface of the skin and work immediately, with only mild bruising and swelling. Treatment usually takes around 30 minutes and lasts between 12 and 18 months, depending on areas treated, this will be discussed during the consultation.

The Profhilo Treatment

Sometimes referred to as the “Airbrushing Treatment”- Dermal remodelling or dermal Scaffolding. Profhilo is an injectable hyaluronic acid (HA), not a filler, which stimulates 4 different types of collagen and elastin within the skin. It nourishes the Dermal cells which increase and restores natural firmness and provide hydration from the inside out. Used to treat skin laxity, Profhilo gives skin a youthful boost of hydration to the skin cells and tissue and it creates a tightening and lifting effect, smoothing skin tone and giving the skin back that natural bounce.

 

Best treatment areas a lower face (5 precise injection sights), neck – to treat “crepey” skin, décolleté, hands and above the knees.

2 treatments are required to see the best results spaced 4 weeks apart. Results are often seen after the first appointment but are more noticeable after 8 weeks. The effects can last from 6 to 8 months and a top-up every 6 months is recommended.
