Multi Masking

It’s all about Multi Masking.

Not everyones skin is the same, some people have oily skin, some have dry skin or even a combination of the both, whether that be a chronically dry forehead and an oily nose or it could be an oily forehead with extremely dry cheeks – the combinations are endless… but not to worry, we have a solution for you!

Multi-Masking is where you can tackle multiple skin conditions by using a cocktail of masks to treat different areas.

Here is an example of my multi-masking combo consisting of Clarifying Clay Mask, Liquid Gold Smoothing & Perfecting Mask, Dream Kiss StarSkin Mask and Eye Catcher StarSkin Mask.

This first mask is a must have for all of you ‘oily t-zoners’ – Clarifying Clay Mask is a gentle decongesting mask which contains Kaolin and bentonite to absorb excess sebum and helps to draw out any impurities in the skin with fruit acids giving an added exfoliation effect leaving your skin smooth and refined – I use this on my T-Zone area.

*Tip – Try adding a few drops of ‘Blemish & Age Defence’ into the mask to help combat breakouts*

Next, on goes my Eye Catcher mask from StarSkin to brighten up my eyes and to reduce puffiness, these masks are so easy to use and completely mess free. Simply peel off the inner layer and stick underneath the eye, once it’s on peel off the outer layer and leave on for 15 minutes – it’s as easy as that.

*Tip – Place in the fridge 10 minutes before using to enhance the cooling effect*

…and don’t forget about your lips – DREAMKISS from Starskin is applied in the same way as ‘Eyecatcher’ but covers your lip area. This mask is deeply moisturising and instantly plumps and hydrates your lips diminishing fine lip lines giving you the perfect pout.

My Favourite mask of them all is the Liquid Gold Smoothing & Perfecting Mask AKA ‘The Cinderella mask’ – this gets used on my forehead, cheeks, jawline and décolletage to renew my skin leaving it even, more supple and radiant.

After applying this mask it can give you a mild tingling effect – this is due to the glycolic acid ‘doing its job’. Great for using on areas of pigmentation, scarring or unevenness.

There are so many masks available it just about finding the right mask or masks for you & your skin.

Tackling different concerns takes time, unfortunately it’s not an over night job, however you will get there!
